Precision Resource is looking for someone to join our 2nd shift team in a production operator role. What You’ll Be Doing
- Running production machines: You’ll operate grinders, beltsanders, presses, basic CNC machines, and other equipment. Over time, you’ll learn to set them up and troubleshoot when something isn’t right.
- Loading and unloading parts: There’s a steady flow of metal parts coming through. You’ll load them into machines, take them out, and move bins on and off pallets. It’s hands-on work.
- Inspecting what you produce: You’ll look over parts visually and start using basic inspection tools to make sure everything meets quality standards.
- Following instructions: You’ll read and follow verbal and written directions to know what needs to be done on any given shift.
- Keeping records: You’ll log your work into the computer accurately so we know what’s been produced and where everything stands.
- Helping us improve: We’re always looking for ways to do things better. You’ll be part of teams that look at processes and figure out how to improve them.

What You’ll Need to Bring
- High School diploma or equivalent plus hands-on mechanical aptitude. You don’t need to be a master mechanic, but you should be comfortable with tools and machines.
- Experience in manufacturing is ideal, but we’ll also look at any mechanically related experience. If you’ve worked on cars, fixed things around the house, or done similar hands-on work, that counts.
- Basic math skills so you can handle measurements and counts.
- Good understanding of spoken and written English. Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but English is essential.
- Self-motivation and a desire to learn. We’re willing to train, but you need to bring the energy and the attitude. If you want to build a career, we’ll help you do it.
- Adaptability. Things change in manufacturing. New orders, different parts, shifting priorities. You need to roll with it.
- Reliability and punctuality. This is non-negotiable. The team counts on everyone being there.
- Physical capability: You’ll be lifting, turning, bending, walking, standing, and reaching throughout your shift. You need to be able to handle that.
