Cervello Global Corporation is currently seeking US Citizen Delivery Drivers to join our Specialized Transportation Services (STS) division in Japan. This role focuses on the safe, timely, and secure transport of sensitive DoD and commercial cargo, including last-mile tactical pickups and deliveries. Candidates will be responsible for moving shipments from Narita International Airport to Misawa Air Base or Yokota Air Base while strictly adhering to transportation regulations and ensuring cargo integrity. Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate transport vehicles to deliver sensitive cargo on pre-planned routes without deviation.
- Pick up cargo from Narita International Airport and deliver to Misawa Air Base or Yokota Air Base.
- Maintain communication with origin and destination customers, providing updates on estimated pickup or delivery times and resolving any issues.
- Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international transportation regulations and maintain necessary permits and licenses.
- Protect the cargo during transport to prevent damage, loss, or security breaches.
- Maintain accurate logs of trips, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents encountered during transportation.
- Inspect vehicles regularly, perform basic maintenance, and report any mechanical issues to management.
- Communicate effectively with the coordinator and dispatch team regarding delivery progress or delays.
- Prioritize safety at all times for yourself, cargo, and others on the road.
Qualifications
- Physically located within 80 kilometers of Yokohama, Japan.
- Proven experience driving professionally, ideally in specialized transportation or logistics.
- Strong understanding of transportation regulations and compliance standards.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to follow detailed route instructions and transport guidelines accurately.
- Physically capable of handling cargo and performing vehicle inspections.
- High attention to detail, reliability, and strong problem-solving skills.
